Hexenhaus - Butterkekshäuschen
Anstelle eines Lebkuchenhauses empfiehlt sich das Hexenhaus aus Butterkeksen. 
Jedenfalls habe ich mit einem ganz fleißigen Helfer mich ganz gewagt vom traditionellen Lebkuchenhaus bzw. Hexenhaus entfernt und entstanden ist eine Kirche. Sie wurde in Anlehnung an die Sagrada Familia in Barcelona gefertigt 
Aufgrund der reichen Verzierung haben wir festgestellt, dass es eine katholische Kirche sein muss. Das Bauen und Verzieren ist auf jeden Fall eine Herausforderung, aber auch eine super Beschäftigung zu zweit, besonders bei schlechtem Wetter am Adventssonntag. Das Beste an dem Hexenhaus ist, dass es günstig zu bauen ist, denn backen fällt hier auch weg! Es ist ideal für arme Studenten zum Verschenken oder für die WG-Küche. Auch bei einer kleinen Weihnachtsfeier ist das Häuschen der Hingucker und vielleicht auch ein Partysnack, wenn man nicht unbedingt den Kölner Dom baut…Denn der wäre mit Sicherheit auf einer Party schnell einsturzgefährdet…
Zutaten für eine Kirche und ca. 3 zusätzliche Häuschen:
- 1 Pckg. Butterkekse
- 1 Tüte Gummibärchen oder Colorado Mix
- 1 Tüte Schokolinsen oder Mokkabohnen
- 1 Eiweiß
- 1 Pckg. Puderzucker
1. Die Architektur der Butterkekshäuschen überlegen. Butterkekse in die gewünschten Formen schneiden. Das funktioniert sehr gut mit einem Brötchenmesser, weil es eine ganz feine Säge hat. Aber vorsichtig arbeiten!
2. Das Ei trennen: Eiweiß in eine kleine Schüssel, Eigelb gleich in die Pfanne (für das Herzhafte nach dem ganzen Naschen). Zu dem Eiweiß allmählich Puderzucker unterrühren. Die Masse muss schön glatt gerührt werden und sollte ziemlich fest sein, sodass das Umrühren schwer fällt.
3. Nun die Masse in einen Trichter aus Backpapier oder eine kleine stabile Tüte geben. Am besten eignet sich ein Gefrierbeutel. Vorn in den Trichter oder die Tüte ein kleines Loch schneiden, aber wirklich nur klein, damit man präzise arbeiten kann. Der Zement ist damit einsatzbereit.
4. Nun zuerst die Dachkonstruktion zusammenkleben und zum Antrocknen beiseite legen.
5. Die Wände werden jetzt zusammen geklebt. Je höher das Butterkekshäuschen werden soll, desto wichtiger werden kleine Hilfswände. Dafür am besten innerhalb der Aussenwände nochmals kleine Keksstückchen einkleben, damit später die Statik stimmt ; )
6. Und zum Schluss das Dach draufsetzen.
7. Für das Richtfest bleibt keine Zeit, denn die Verzierung fehlt ja noch…Und hier sind der Fantasie keine Grenzen gesetzt.
Falls man aus irgendeinem Grund die Verzierung am nächsten Tag beenden will, aber den Zement aufheben will: einen feuchten Lappen oder Geschirrtuch über die Schüssel legen, mit einem Gummiband befestigen und ab in den Kühlschrank. Sollte man das vergessen, ist die Eiweiß-Zucker-Masse am nächsten Tag wirklich wie Zement…
