Schweinsöhrchen mit Zitrone und Zimt

Endlich habe ich wieder etwas Zeit, um neue Rezepte auszuprobieren, nach Herzenslust zu kochen und zu backen. Und praktischerweise gibt’s vor allem im Sommer genug Gelegenheiten, um z.B. einen Kuchen mitzubringen.

Ich wollte schon immer mal Schweinsöhrchen selbst machen und dann kam Joanna mit der Idee eines Abends zu uns. Das hat also perfekt gepasst! Diese Schweinsöhrchen sind sogar noch ein bisschen ausgefallener als die normalen, die man sonst so beim Bäcker kauft! Denn sie schmecken frisch durch die Zitrone und würzig durch den Zimt.

Schweinsohren

Zutaten für Schweinsöhrchen mit Zitrone und Zimt für ca. 1 Backblech:

  • 1 Packung Blätterteigplatten oder 1 Blätterteigrolle (TK)
  • etwas Zucker (Menge je nach Geschmack)
  • etwas Zimt
  • Zitronensaft
  • abgeriebene Zitronenschale

Und so geht’s:

1. Den Teig auftauen lassen. Dauert ca. 15 min. In der Zeit schon mal die Spezialmischung anrühren: Zucker, Zimt, etwas Zitronensaft und die abgeriebene Zitronenschale zu einer dickflüssigen Soße verrühren.

2. Dann auf dem Teig etwas Soße verteilen und den Teig von den Längsseiten zur Mitte hin zusammenfalten.

3. Dann wieder  mit Soße bestreichen und mittig nach innen falten. Das Ganze - so oft wie es der Teig zulässt -  wiederholen. Bei Platten kann man den Teig ca. 3 mal nach innen zusammen klappen.

4. Dann die zusammengefaltetete “Rolle” in kleine Querstreifen schneiden und auf dem Blech verteilen. Blätterteig geht ziemlich auf und die Soße wirkt später wie ein Kleber. Also - soweit möglich - Platz lassen zwischen den einzelnen Schweinsöhrchen!

5. Nach der Hälfte der Backzeit (ca. 15 min) die Schweinsöhrchen aus dem Ofen nehmen und auf die andere Seite legen. Aber vorsichtig, denn die Soße tropft häufig heraus und ist sehr heiß!!!

6. Nach insgesamt ca. 30 min backen bei ca. 180°C sind die Schweinsöhrchen mit Zitrone und Zimt fertig! Und so schnell wie sie fertig sind, so schnell sind sie auch wieder weg! ;) Guten Appetit!
